Job Description

We are looking for an experienced and passionate Data Lead who will be managing, mentoring and growing our Data team, supporting Product and Marketing teams through data and tools, defining data requirements and improving the company-wide data culture.

Responsibilities

• ● Owning and managing the day to day workload of the data team
• ● Working closely with those outside the data team to define data requirements and areas where data can provide value
• ● Carrying out ad-hoc analysis and deep-dives to help answer the key questions with insights and actionable recommendations and inform the product roadmap decisions
• ● Supervising the creation of automated data pipelines that feed frequently used tables and dashboards
• ● Supporting the leadership team in company-wide decision-making

Desired skills and experiences

• ● 5+ years of work experience in Data Lead or any other analytical role
• ● Very strong analytical skills to make data-driven decisions
• ● Excellent understanding of A/B testing and diagnostic analytics
• ● Extensive experience with reporting and dashboard tools
• ● Ability to take full ownership of projects and grow within an agile team
• ● Extensive experience with reporting and dashboard tools, i.e. Looker, Tableau, Qlik, etc.
• ● Ability to write complex SQL with related experience of querying databases on a day-to-day basis (BigQuery experience is nice to have)
• ● Nice to have experience in a scripting language like Python, R and some familiarity to working with command line
• ● Nice to have experience with cloud platforms like Google Cloud Platform
• ● Ability to take full ownership of projects and grow within an agile team
• ● Excellent communication skills
• ● University degree in a related field from a reputable university
